Tara brings over seven years of customer service experience and a deep passion for animal care to our team. Though she’s often the first friendly face clients see at the front desk, directing high volumes of calls, answering client questions and handling scheduling— her work extends far beyond reception. Tara plays an active role in patient care each day—assisting with medical procedures, supporting diagnostic work, ensuring treatments are carried out efficiently, and providing calm, compassionate handling to support the doctors in all aspects of treatment. Her steady presence and technical expertise make her a go-to team member for challenging cases, and she takes pride in training and supporting her colleagues to maintain a high standard of care at Sullivan Animal Hospital.
Outside of work, Tara has extensive experience handling and caring for exotic species, including snakes, geckos, and arachnids. She currently shares her home with four tarantulas and her beautiful tuxedo cat, Naga. Tara’s appreciation for all living creatures—whether furry, scaly, or eight-legged—reflects her belief that every animal is deserving of compassion and respect. Her calm nature, precision, and dedication to both patients and clients make her an indispensable part of the clinic team.
